Question about Acer Aspire 5102WLMi Notebook
I am trying to connect my acer m5100 PC to a tv with vga cable but get "no signal" on tv. Phoned up acer but they don't know what to do...can anyone help
The inputs on a TV are normally via the ariel and go into a pre-amp
To get a signal in you, would again, normally connect to the RGB or Video in which bypasses the pre-amp.
The VGA cable will be outputting a digital signal which a monitor will understand but a TV will not as it prime supply is via an analog signal
You may be able to get a connection if you process the signal through a freeview box which changes the signal from analog to digital
