Washer will not start. It is stuck on pause.
Thank you for allowing me to assist you, Friend.
If you are receiving an error code PAUSE, it commonly indicates that the door of your washer is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your washer. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Hope this helps! - Z

This sounds like a broken door switch. Open the door and look on the right side of the cabinet where the door latch goes in. About 4-5 inches above that there should be a small actuator that sticks out about a quarter inch. You should be able to press it in and out easily. If you only have a hole with nothing sticking out, the actuator is broken. You can break off a round toothpick and insert it in the hole, leaving about a quarter inch sticking out and gently close the door and see if the machine starts up.
Post back and let me know what you find.
Thanks/Mike

Check the door switch. I think you have posted twice.

Control Lock To avoid having someone accidentally start or stop the washer, press Options and Select at the same time and hold for 10 seconds until “LOC” is displayed alternately with the estimated cycle time. To unlock the controls, press Options and Select at the same time and hold 10 seconds until ”LOC” is no longer displayed.

does the unit have standing water still in it.if so use a shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hoseand removed all the water the check you drain pump for any kind of foriegn object that may be stopping the impellar wheel.the door lock may also be bad, the last but maybe the first thing is a bad control board
Hi friend, thanks for your inquiry!
If your washer continues to display an error code of "PAU" it could be an issue with your door lock but if the door strike is not sitting properly within the latch your washer will continue to provide the error code "PAU". Additionally, if your control panel is registering that the door is closed you may continue to experience the "PAU" code. I would recommend having a professional come and properly diagnosis your washer to prevent any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this is helpful. -OOS
