I have jamo Dvr50
system and it has been frozen since yesterday. I have power down few times but nothing is happening. It comes on and panel lights up but that is all. None of the commands work even from remote control. Today i tried to hold the 'standby' button and than turned the power on and
dvd tray opened i popped in DVD but than nothing.
The system has been only used few times but it was left on standby for long period of times and some time it use to come on by it self and than it would go back to standby, The lights in the panel use to flicker i did not think much of that, I thought it was just the remote sensor.

dvd inside. Only when I remove the
dvd drive, I can get the unit to work."

My unit did the same. I followed the instructions above and it now works . I attached a seperate DVD unit to my system. Use the video mode to hear the sound.
