Would need to know Make/model of fan. Also, how many wires on capacitor and what color wire goes into which slot on fan. When replacing switch, DO NOT CUT WIRES.

If the wall switch doesn't have 3 or 4 speeds then it is not a fan control. There are no fan companys that make a variable fan control so that should tell you something.REPLACE IT with a fan control.
Try to replace your fuel pump relay. If that doesn\'t work, replace the spark plugs. If that doesn\'t work, replace your high tension leads with boogie cords.
Pull the heater control panel out of the dash and inspect the blower speed control switch, look for signs of a burnt connector to the switch, it will be discolored looking, if this is the case replace the switch and install a repair connector
The cruise control issue is a common problem. The switch that is behind the steering wheel tends to wear out and the whole stalk will have to be replaced. I had the same problem with mine. It would work intermittently and over time it stopped working all together. I replaced the stalk and it was fixed
Check the speed switch on top - sometimes it doesn't fully seat in the 1 or 2 position. Switch it to the opposite setting, run it, then switch back, until it seats properly. Also check the clutch control ring for the same issue.
SOUND LIKE BAD BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR.CHECK BLOWER MOTOR HI BLOW FUSE AND RELAY.YOU WILL NEED OWNERS MANUAL IN GLOVE COMPARTMENT TO LOCATED BLOWER MOTOR FUSES AND RELAYS.
It is possible that the high speed went out on the motor but I doubt that. I would replace the switch and see if that takes care of your problem.Good luck and thank you
Trolling motor runs on it's own when plugged in,speed adjuster won't control speed and 3 position switch doesn't perform either..please help. motorguide 74lb thrust.
