I should have worded the problem differently. I have already done all of the cleaning procedures that the printer can do. I am sure the ink has dried up since the printer sat awhile I am sure. I am asking what ingredients make up print head cleaner, I really dont want to spend money online if I can make it myself. I have cleaned epsons before using a syringe, alcohol and air to clean out the small holes in the print heads. I am just asking if there is a better way to physically clean them. thanks.

Unfortunately, the printhead can only be removed by disassembling the printer and paying for the parts if defective. It is just not worth it. If you have already tried new inks (just replace one - not all) and this number of cleaning cycles - there is nothing else. At this point replacing may be the best solution if you are out of the one-year warranty period.

I don't know how to remove the print head but if you want to clean it - check for mr.musculo solution from any market near you. Leave the print head in this solution (warmed at about 35 celsius) for several up to 24 hours.

Truely, this is a job best left to the professionals. I have been doing these for a few years now and I can tell you that it is fiddly and tricky. The best solution for cleaning a printhead is through software. This is how the professionals do it and it is the only successful method. Removing the printhead in these unit is only ever done when they are replaced and this is not something that can be done without the epson service software as there is a printhead number that must be entered into the eprom to make the head work.
If cleaning of the head through the soft ware has failed, try moving the head to the left of the unit. where the head parks is the ink system assembly, also known as the purge unit. Make yourself a solution of dishwashing liquid and water, about 70% water. Fill the small pad area that the head sits on to almost over flowing and move the head across to park position. Leave the printer for 24 hours and then conduct the deep clean from your software. If you are still unable to clear the heads, than the head is faulty and will need to be replaced. Again, there is codes to enter through service software that is unavailable to all except registered epson warranty service centres, so it will be something to be done by the professionals.
I hope this is helpfull.

You have tried almost all the steps. You have to consult Epson Service Support. Don't try more the head can damage.
