Hello

Go here http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ and take a look at the manual for the aspire notebook 5630 (should be similar to yours)

On page 39 theres a diagram showing the base. You basically have to unscrew the memory compartment cover , remove the cover then slot the memory in and put the cover back. RAM upgrades are really easy!
