My dad gave me a RCA tablet. and I have no clue which version it is it says that the models is a RCT6378W2. when he gave it to me all it has was a cover on it. my dad said to go to walmart and buy a charger for it but I already had a charger it. do I charged it all night and in the morning tryed to turn it on and nothing happened. I can't get it to turn on at all. I do t know what's wrong with it. please help.

you can wipe it as for removing code that is not going to be possible, to reset to manufacturer settings there is a pin hole on the back push this with a pin in the hole and turn on the unit this will reset to manufacturer settings, you may still have all your stuff on there but the settings will be back to new and you will need to set them back up after.

Try to fine out what is defect the charger, the cable, or the tablet, by testing other cable, charger and tablet. not all 3 the same time, but one at the time.
