Black globs and streaks in places, ink not sticking to the paper. Using same high quality paper for a few years. Not using generic inks. Was able to run hundreds of pages with great quality...then had to cut down to running 20 at a time before the problem set in. Then cut down to 7...now nothing looks good.
not a solution but i have the same problem, found that buying bottles of fuser oil and adding it regularly to orange foam rollers found under fuser oil unit helps although 1st page printed will be covered in oil. also i have cut holes in top of fuser oil unit so can keep a high level of oil. i have 5 of these printers all with the same problem.in my search for a solution came across this, rings true to me. http://www.dec.com/sbso/expert/competitive_ricoh_reliability.html

Ricoh now makes a high capacity oil unit that is designed for longer runs which tend to lead to bad prints near the end of the run. I have found it solves many of these problems. You may also need to adjust the fuder temperature up if the toner is not sticking to the paper.
