Well, I don't see how I could have got any of the codes wrong, as I have them recorded in the booklets that were provided with the phone and have entered them exactly as they are recorded. Don't mean to sound rude, but haven't had a problem entering code before.

Thank you for your help, I will have to wait until I can go to Telstra shop tomorrow, as we have entered the code more than 3 times.

Hi,

A PUK lock means you entered your passcode incorrect too many times. The ONLY fix for this is to:

Either call your provider and ask them for the PUK code, OR

Go in to a store from your provider and ask for a new SIM card.

If you enter 3 incorrect PUK code, there is no way you could save your SIM.

Sorry, but that's the precise solution.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using "Fixya".

    Thanks for your response.

The best BET - Call the service provider. Confirm the PUK code. We are human. No mater how good we are, we might make a mistake.

Once confirmed, let me know, So that we could proceed further.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Make sure you would not enter it thrice. As you have done once, confirm and let me know whether first time you entered the correct one or not.

    Thanks.

If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.

nothing plays

If you forgot you can generate master code using your IMEI, which can be viewed by pressing *#06# and keying that in the link mentioned below,,

I need a puk code for my nokia n95 phone. I am

PUK is not your phones code. its the sim code. if you enter three times wrong PIN number then the sim asks u for a PUK to unlock the sim card. if u enter 10 times wrong PUK code then your sim will get corrupted and u cant be use that sim anymore. to solve this problem. you have to contact the sim vendor or customer care to retrieve the code from them. u have to give 16 digit sim no: while they ask for conformation. after getting the PUK no. keep that Number in safe place for future use.....

My n95 is urgently needed to unlock, i need my phone's puk code..

PUK code is provided by the service provider. It is your Personal Unblocking KeyPuk and PUK2. These are 8 digit numbers. Default PUK is 00000000. Try it. If someone has not played dirty with you then it shud work.

Nokia N95 puk code

PUK means "personal unlocking key" .

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call your phone service company, they can retrieve the puk code from a database
for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card phone provider technical support to unlock the SIM.

The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone should not ask for the PUK anymore.

Your rating is highly appreciated on this matter.

thank you,

Nokia mobile phone PUK code

Hi everyone

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

Please also remember to give me a good rating on my profile.

Kind regards
Dustin Ellse
