Is the camera activating? Is the screen going completely black or do you see the measurement marks on the screen when putting it in reverse? Might be a blown fuse, faulty power wire to the camera or simply that the cover is physically stuck by dirt or something.

Testimonial: "Hi , Thanks for quick response, camera is working fine because when put gear lever in reverse the pcm screen changes and I see some light on bottom of screen as camera peeps through cover."

Then there might just be some dirt that stops the cover from opening. Try putting it in reverse with the parking brake ON, and go back and see if you can carefully get the cover to open with your finger.

Tyre rotation pattern

you need to check to see if the tires are uni-directional meaning they are designed to run in only one direction as well as check to see if they are position specificate meaning they are designed to run in only on position on the car. if none of the above apply tires are moved from the front of the car directly to the rear on the same side and the rear tires are moved to the front opposite side they were when on the rear.

Why porsche cayenne 2009 rear view camera is not opening cover is stuck

As with most vehicles the rear window and tailgate gets covered in dirt, salt etc. which is thrown up from the rear wheels and by the wind swirling out and up. The cover on the camera needs cleaning and lubricated regularly. I washed the cover, dried it with high pressure air and lubricated it with a silicone spray. When I first did it, there was a fine dirt in the crevices that needed to be dug out. I used a small blade to scrap it out, then lubricated it. Good luck.

How do you jump start a 2005 porsche cayenne? Where are the jump start pegs?

Open front bonnet and remove plastic trim cover at top of left front inner guard. You will see a red cover over a solid pole. This is the POSITIVE power terminal. Connect your power pack RED / POSITIVE cable here and then connect your BLACK / NEGATIVE cable to a good earth point, like the engine mount bolt, bonnet lock, etc..
