Question about Acer Aspire 3000 Notebook
Have you ever installed a "Deep Freeze" software... if so, then you have to disable it and restart, then install the sound driver. Then enable it back on...
Deep Freeze, it will not allow any installation or saving when this is enabled. See also other similar programs that do this function.
For what I know anything installed there on the system stays even if you restart it, you agree right. But Deep Freeze and other similar programs will not permit installation, update, virus infection, even saving files to the protected drive (ex. drive C).
