Check the following
Take the power cable out from the printer and from the wall socket and make sure that there is no damage and properly replug it
Check the socket is switched on and make sure the socket is working
Check the power switch is on.
If the lcd screen is still blank then your printer may have a hardware fault.If you call the cannon helpdesk they can advise whether or not you are out of warranty
