U can simply get the manual from whirlpool.co.uk to solve the pump issue as its quite a simple one
its just a matter of opening the drainage door and unscrewing the drain catcher make sure u got a bowl or saucepan there to catch any water
and that will solve your problem

No you need the manual the pump hasa pin in it and needs to have the snap rings removed and the pump cleaned, this is from the bottom most likely where the water pump is.

Whirlpool 6th Sense displaying FP and clean pump is lit ! How do you clean pump ?

On the lower front panel is a small door which may be behind the kick panel. Behind this door is the drain filter.. Do not undo this filter till you have emptied the machine, as any water in the machine will flow from the pump, when opened.. Leaning the machine back against the wall will help contain what water is left in the machine..
Undo filter, check and clean.
Check that a coin or hairclip has not fouled pump impellers.
If the impeller has come away from the pump shaft, the pump motor needs to be replaced.. A tech should be called for this job!
Good luck....Nomess

Remove the lower panel on the front of the washer. The pump will be just inside. Twist the pump knob to unscrew. Clean it. Replace it.

My washer gets so far then says fp

fp indicates a pump failiure so either clean the pump filter, or if the pump filter is clear then you will need to replace the pump as this is indication of a knackerd pump

Whirlpool 6th sense awm8163 programes never stops now cannot get it to work at all

The pump is at the lower left of the front of the machine covered by a white plate. Use a bowl to catch any remaining water when opening the screw thread inside and then clean and replace. If it is truely beyond repair then a new filter pump can be bought from ebay for £3 or thereabouts.

I have just drained mine manually in this way and am going to run it empty with soda crystals to glean a few more days use whilst the new pump arrives.

Good luck :)
