Yes sure, you can recover data from corrupted flash drive. The malware infection on the flash drive may corrupt the file system and leading to make the data stored under it inaccessible. But the data still present in the flash drive. So you can recover data from flash drive after corruption by using a tool called USB data recovery. This software worked with the great results for me when I faced the similar situation. You can also download the demo tool and evaluate the recovery process.

It depends what the problem is.. Ultimately, there may be no way to recover your files. You could try programs such as "Data Recovery Wizard" -, or other such programs, but it really does depend on the kind of problem you have.

Also, try defragmenting the drive using Windows, you can do this by right clicking the drive in My Computer - > Properties - > Tools - > Defragment Now...

Hope it helps.

My Flash drive light flickers and the flash drive is not been detected. Plese help me

The computer is trying to access the flash drive, the light indicates the there is at the very least some activity. What you will need to do is try this flash drive in another computer or try all available USB ports on your computer. Use the USB ports at the rear of your computer as it is possible that the front ones are not making proper contact.

If the problem persists it is possible that the flash drive has malfunctioned. You will then need to claim warranty support. The data may be recovered from the drive. A format of the drive may solve the problem however once done the information stored on the drive will be lost.

Take care!

I have some music on my 4G drive and the music files became curupt and now i can not acess anything on my drive. what is the best way to fix this?

Based on the clarification, it appears that the flash memory on your USB drive is faulty or there is some form of corruption to the file allocation table (like a table of contents for digital storage).
There are a couple of solutions that might save the USB drive in the event that it is not a hardware malfunction, but sadly, I don't feel the data is retrievable with this level of corruption.
A. FAT Corruption
In this scenario, your data may be recoverable, however, it will take the expertise of a data recovery specialist to ensure that it can be retained. There are several excellent companies online that provide such services, but I must inform you that data recovery is a tricky service in that it is not always guaranteed to work and that it is quite expensive. The exact cost will be determined at the time of service, but preliminary quotes can range from $250-2000 on average.
Once the data is recovered (or the decision to forgo the data has been made), simply connect the USB drive to your computer and format the device when prompted.

B. Hardware Flash Memory Fault
If the format did not resolve the issue, then that would indicate a hardware malfunction on the part of the flash memory. In this case, there is no real way to repair the damaged USB drive and unfortunately, it will need to be replaced.
Though hardware faults on flash memory aren't too commonplace, they can happen and similar to hard drives on a computer, once the damage is done, it will continue to work poorly until it dies completely.
Below are links to a few of the most reputable online data recovery services I can recommend:

I really need to recover files from my sandisk cruzer

Have you tried this? restart your computer and plug your USB in again(this helps to clean the buffer), see if you drive can be recognized.

If you still can't access the data inside, try this data recovery program Wondershare Data Recovery. Get the program here,

Windows Data Recovery (Windows Version)
Mac Data Recovery (Mac OS version)

Take care - Before those items are recovered, stop saving more files to the device in case the file data are overwritten!
