Question about Nokia 6300 Cell Phone

I m having problem with my web settings on nokia 6300. i cant able to save service provider web setting on my phone. the promt shown 70 SETS NOT ALLOWED, SETTINGS DISCARDED. AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY WEB SETTINGS OF ANY SERVICE PROVIDER CURRENTLY ON MY PHONE. SO PLZ HELP ME!

Follow the following steps to save your configuration settings.

1: Download & install OxyCube.
2: Connect your phone with USB cable. (USB Cable drivers must be installed)
3: Run OxyCube.
4: Select C: (Your phone memory).
5: In folders tree select Omadm Folder.
6: There will be 70 Numbered folders under Omadm.
7: Delete all folders accept first 5 & the folder named PRECFG.
8: Disconnect your phone.
9: Reboot your phone.
10: Either request you provider to send you settings. or insert it manually.
11: This time the settings will save normally.

Nokia 6300 "only 70 sets allowed setting discarded"

"only 70 sets allowed setting discarded" is one of the Worst Problem in Nokia 6300 and Some other Models.But there is No Settings Visible in Configuration Settings When we Checking[To Delete it from Phone Menu to Save New Settings].We can't get rid from this Trouble only by Making Restore Factory Settings.
This Settings are actually in Phone's Drive[C Drive] and which is invisible in Phone Menu.So it need to Remove from the Phone to Save or Manually Create New Settings.
This can be Possible through following Steps-Simply do it and Save your Valuable Money.Also make your Phone Active and Cool.
Here is the Steps to Taken to Solve this:
  • Download Oxyfile (To Download Click here)
  • Install it on your Computer
  • Connect your Nokia 6300 with Specified Cable
  • Open Oxyfile Software Click on 'FILE BROWSER'
  • Go to Drive C: (Your phone memory).
  • In folders -select 'Omadm' Folder.
  • There will be 70 Numbered folders under Omadm.
  • Delete all folders except first 5 & the folder named PRECFG.
  • Disconnect your phone.
  • Switch OF your Phone for 2 Minutes
  • Switch ON Phone
  • Now you are Solved
Now you are able to Save OR manually Enter Settings to your Phone.

Gprs setting problem

if you are using Airtel then use the following: Name Mobile Office IP address Proxy Enable Proxy port 8080 APN Others you can give any values. If some other service provider then ask their helpline and set them up manually.

My solution is required another nokia 6300 that no this problem and need program NOKIA PC SUITE.
first you should backup setting from this phone via nokia pc suite
after connect your phone 6300 that have config problem to computer
then restore the setting from backup to your phone after restart your phone and enjoy.

Sir i have to kinds if mobile nokia 3110c and nokia 6300 when i recieve the internet and web settings from my service provider these two mobles reject the settings saying (only 70 sets are allowed setting...

for nokia 6300; just go to settings>configuration>default config
select all the unused setting and delete it then after make the required settings save for specified gprs service(for gprs on computer save-mobile office)

My 6300

There could be too many settings for Internet/Wap/MMS etc... on your phone.
Delete them all and get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. The MMS service doesn’t always work between networks.
If you're on a prepaid phone, make sure you have enough credits to sends MMS. Also check that your phone isn't too full of old files. The phone needs a certain amount of memory to function.
