Question about Audio Players & Recorders
I can't say I totally SOLVED this, but for me I had the same problem until today. I accidentally hit the end of the needle (not the pointed end, but the point that's attached to the casing) on the little metal dot on the side. The volume shot up right when I hit it.
Intrigued, I wiggled the piece. It now plays loudly!
Also, did you open it up and check all the solders/connections see if it's clean?
