Go to:

http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010383.asp

Enter your Operating System and language in the drop-down boxes. Click "Submit".

Available software will be listed. Select the "Printer Driver" for your computer. Be certain you select the correct one. (Make sure your operating system is correct.)

Click on the file title link to download. Save the file to your desktop. DO NOT run it yet.

Once the file is downloaded, turn your printer ON, but do not connect the USB cable. Double-click the file you downloaded to begin software install. Connect the USB cable when prompted by the software.

You can download the installation driver and software from manufacturer's website by clicking this link
  • On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) and download the drivers and software from the next page which opens.

How can i install the canon pixma ip 1800 without disk?
Go to this web page:

IP1800 Support

If the "Drivers & Downloads" tab is not selected, select it.

Enter your operating system in the drop-down menu.

Drivers and additional software links will be displayed. Click on the file name to download them.

Save the file to your computer. (Desktop is easiest if you are not familiar with placing the files in a folder.)

You can then install the driver/software from your computer.
