Question about Televison & Video
There are common errors. However, i am surprised tat you bought the unit a month ago.Make sure that you are using correct DVD. Try to use some other DVD that you might have used previously and worked on it.
Usually, we do advice the people to clean up the DVD as the main reason for this error is 'Dust Accumulation'. However, as the unit is only 1 month old, i don't guess it would be an appropriate to say that there is dust accumulation unless you must have it in junkyard.
More likely, it seems to be a Laser Head.
My bet - RETURN IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND GET A REPLACEMENT AS THEY USUALLY OFFER 1 YEAR WARRANTY.TRY TO AVOID THESE KIND OFF PLAYERS.
Always better to read the reviews before purchasing any player.Do not open the unit or it will void your warranty. If not under warranty :-
Open the unit. Remove the DVD drive. Take the top off of the DVD drive. Clean the lense with a q-tip with a little windex on it. Work the head up and down gently. Reassemble and test. If problem presists, go buy a new one.
This would be the precise solution. I know its frustrating, but i would NOT advise you something that would be against the ethics.
Hope i helped you.
