Follow this link and it will take you to the Toshiba website. You can verify your warranty status (upper right icon) and then find the location of the service center that is closest to you (upper left icon).
If I can provide additional help, just let me know.

Hi i have come in to work and booted the pc and it didnt come on i have looked at the board and the little green light next to the seamen battrey is very dull and while its like that it will not boot and...

i am not certain, you are referring to the NEC notebook. if so, try booting up with the AC adapter only

what model and type is the computer ?

if you are in North America, i can recommend you to a battery store near you.

Follow instructions:

1) make sure computer is off. remove the battery
2) power up the computer with AC adapter attached only
3) if it does boot up, shut it down.
4) re install the battery and boot it up without AC adapter

if the notebook does not boot up, then yes, you need a new battery for it

if the batter is 2 years old or more, you need new battery

send me 4 thumbs up please.

shut down unit...pull power cord...pull the battery out of the unit ...reconnect power cord see if unit will start up... if it does, go to e-bay price a new battery... you have the information on battery...

I just replaced the battery on my toshiba L45 notebook and as soon as the battery is installed,it freezes up the computer. If the computer is off and battery is installed,it will not boot up.Everything...

Have you tried just the battery and power led for 24 hrs? A new baterry needs initial charge period before use and could be taking the majority of the power supplied by the adaptor, hence the freezing.

Cannot turn on my LG Notebook anymore

Will the laptop boot with the power adapter connected and battery removed? If so, boot it up and install the battery once it's booted up. If okay now, the battery was just really really drained. If okay with no battery but no good with battery, the battery may be bad, or something in the charging circuit may be defective - keep the battery out or replace mainboard ($$$$ - get a new laptop)
If no good with ac adapter and no battery, test the adapter with an electrical meter. It should be putting out 18-19 volts. If not, try a replacement adapter. If adapter tests good but laptop won't boot with no battery, likely the mainboard.
Also - remove hard drive and try to power up. If good, replace hard drive. If no good, reinstall hard drive and remove ram and try to power up. If it powers up, clean the ram and slot contacts gently with a pink pencil eraser and try testing each ram chip in each slot, 1 chip at a time. If still no good, start shopping for a new laptop.

Let me know if this helps or not...

I have a sony notebook with a battery issue

Many laptops will work with ac and no battery in place while others wont. You're not harming a thing by running it without the battery in place though. Give it a shot.

Hp 530 notebook cant boot from a cd drive

There is one possible reason for this issue
  1. CMOS battery
Troubleshooting Steps
Open the computer case and find the battery on the computer motherboard, verify that it will be accessible and that it can be removed. Most computers today use a coin cell CMOS battery. Removed the battery and put it back. This will reset the BIOS setting to default. Change the setting and select first boot device as CD ROM. If that doesn’t work then replace the CMOS battery. After replacing the CMOS battery please change the BIOS setting and select first boot device as CD-ROM.

Laptop will not boot if battery is installed

Have you tried going through the setup screen and selecting the default values for the BIOS? Usually that is necessary any time the battery power is lost.

Purchased new battery, now NOTEBOOK won't work on battery after full charge

Better you first charge the battery for 16 to 17 hours and recheck the same. If problem persists, change the battery from where you bought it. that battery is faulty. And yes there is no need to install the battery from device manager. Just open the battery compartment and replace the battery with new one.
