Re: i have the problem in playing videos on me coby...
I work for COBY tech support. Our customer service phone number is 1-800-727-3592.
Your player can only play videos that have been converted to .mtv format. This is achieved by using the MTV converter that should have come with your player. If you don't have it, please visit, www.cobyusa.com and in the product search type "MPC7095". Click on the link for the MTV Video Converter 1.12.11 and you'll be able to download the software to your pc. I recommend trying to convert .avi files only and be sure to set the fps and screen size to their proper settings. If you need assistance with this, please call the number above and one of our agents will walk you through it.
I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information
allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here.
I hope I've earned a positive rating from you today.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

hey. try this, go to "MyComputer" in the list of drives. if you see yours then either double click or right click and "open". there you should see at least music and videos folder. if you dont then create them name them "Music" and "Videos" now leave this open and grab the songs you want on there and drag them into the music folder. if you have a video then first it should be a .AMV format. if you dont know how to convert it then go to start-all programs-mp3 player utilities 4.18 (might be diferent numbers for different players.) and then click "AMV converter". drag the video files to the white area on the bottom of the converter and click the button that looks like two arrows opposite of each other. thats the start button.then it will take some time depending on how big the video files are. then drag the .AMV files into the "Videos" folder i told you to make. now unplug you mp3 and check. and if still no luck then write e back. hope i helped.
These players only recognize the .amv file format. If you plug the unit into your computer and open the device through windows explorer, you'll see a folder called AMV utilities or something like that. Inside that folder is an installer with the software you need to convert your mp4s to the right format. I find that mine works best when I convert .avi files.
well when i used coby media manager it had a video converter in the video option on the side.i had to register my coby before the software use with its serial # on a sticker located on the back of the device! then i simply used the sycronize feature in the video option on the coby with a video preferbly avi files or others and right click syncronize and it should convert it and then transfer!
all you need to do is go to google and download a AMV video converter tool. once you do that put the video on the converter and start it. then click on My Computer, then click on GPX MTP Device> Removable Storage>. and then copy the video wherever the conveter saved it and then copy it. then paste it in the Music Folder on your mp3.
Ps. i am haveing a problem with charging it. i got videos on it but i cant charge it here is my problem...
The software, esp the AMV converter necessary for converting movies, can be found by entering your model # at: http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=doc I had to click on support -> mp3 & Mp4 and then the exact model # - I couldn't get to it through the regular mp3/mp4 page - trust me, it's there
It supports AMV format only, so it must go through the AMV converter on the Coby website
