Question about Gateway M305CRV Notebook
I recently had to reformat my computer because it was all messed up. I reinstalled all of the drivers. At first I was thinking it was the specialty buttons above the keyboard not working. But I tested all of the other buttons and they seem to be working fine. I have tried to reinstall drivers but I cannot figure out why I am getting no sound. I am sure its something stupid I have overlooked. I would really appreciate some help though!
You either have installed the incorrect driver or you have a faulty audio device.
Check the Device Manager, if there is a yellow ? against the audio device then the driver for that device wasn't installed.
Make sure you download the XP or Vista version of the audio driver for the Windows version that is installed on your laptop.
