If you are not computer savy, it is dangerous to play around with the registry. If you screw up the registry the computer won't work and you most likely need to reinstall Windows.
What do you want to do in the registry?
If you need to fix and or cleanup the registry for some reason there are Registry fix programs on the Internet, it is a safer option than trying to fix the registry yourself.
Do a Google search for these programs on the Internet.
