If your washer displays EFO it means that you are not using HE detergent. You must have used too much detergent on a particular load.You have to use He detergents to fix this issue or else not using it will ruin your washer because regular soap makes too much suds.

EFO is not a Kenmore Error Code.

Zanussi & AEG EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

It can mean one of two things. You did not use an HE ( High energy detergent) or you used to much so there are too many suds in the washer. It can also mean that if you are using warm water, the hot water is not coming in, so you would need to make sure the hoses are connected correctly, the hot water is turned all the way on and that the little filter at the end of the hose (washer end) is clean.

spoke with electrolux and they tell me that it is over sudsing problem. The washer must use HE detergent or use only a the lowest amount on the cup.

Generally an EFO error on a front load machine is caused by using too much soap, or the wrong type of soap. Ensure you are using HE (High Efficiency) soap in your front loader. HE soaps are specially formulated front loading units to be low sudsing, which is essential to a front loader.

It cud b coz of a plugged up drain hose..check that...&
After that..unplug the machine for 5mins and plug it back again..if the message occurs when u r doing a load on the 'bulky' setting (blankets and the like). use t normal settings.
Another important aspect that u must observe is that it cud b becoz of unavailability of hot water..plz check that too
