Where is the fuse on the B&D edge hog - Black & Decker Hedge Hog 20-Inch 2.8-AMP Dual Action Hedge Trimmer #HS1010

When units like this stop when they are being used, it is normally due to overheating, or the plug to the extension lead has come loose on the short tail from the machine! Often after cooling they will come back on when they cool down, but some have a thermal fuse.

No clues here which is unusual, so you might need a Black and Decker Service Centre.

I am guessing you have checked the fuse in the plug ? so check that nothing has wrapped around the cable holder and is stopping the motor, however if this was the case I would think you would have heard the motor buzzing trying to turn for an instant before the fuse would have been taken out , possibly you have a break in the cable check continuity with a digital meter hope this helps

It may be reverse threaded or left hand threaded. Which means that all that grunting was in a tightening direction.
