Question about GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range
We just moved, everything worked just fine before, it is hooked up to natural gas, the ignitor clicks but will not light burners any suggestions.
Hi I have a GE X44 gas stove. The 4 top burners work just fine, but the oven no longer turns on. I don't see the blue flame inside the oven. Is it safe to relight the pilot light?????

This Randy again. I checked out the top of the stove as you suggested and found every thing to be ok. Where might the pilot light be located on this ge xl44? this unit is about 13 to14 years old.
Thanks for your help

Check to be sure burners are on properly and that the burner caps are on squarely. Make sure they are in the correct locations.

Our ge xl44 oven is making our pans have a black residue on them. We have adjusted the flame, but we have to go too low to make the black residue disapppear, and then our cooking time is nearly doubled and/or not hot enough...Anyone have any suggestions? Thx
