How to Use the Pantech Matrix for the Internet1.Press the "Menu" key on your Pantech Matrix and click "Settings. 2.Click "Connections" and highlight "Modem Link." Press the "OK" key. Turn
the modem link settings to "Inactive." Press the "End" key to exit to
the phone's standby screen.
3.Download and install ActiveSync on your computer if the operating system
is Windows XP. If you have a later version, download and install
Windows Mobile Device Center. Follow the on-screen prompts to properly
set up the program.
4. Press the "Menu" key on the Matrix and click "Settings." Scroll down to
"Connection" and press the "OK" key. Click "USB" to "PC."
5. Open ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Click "Device
Settings." Click "Internet Sharing" under the "Programs" tab of the
program.
6.Select "USB" from the drop-down menu under "PC Connection." Select "AT&T" from the "Network Connection" drop-down menu.
7.Click "Connect" and connect the Matrix to the computer using a USB
cable. A status message of "Connected" will appear in the program's
window when the connection is established.
sounds like your network settings are set correctly you should contact at&t and they will send you an update directly to yur phone and it will adjust the settings
Sounds like you don't have a text and multimedia messaging plan set up with your wireless provider. But if you do and it still doesn't work I would take it to one of your wireless providers stores, or call them directly.
You must make sure you have internet through your cell phone company.. you may also want to make sure you are not logged in to any IM services on your computers or other hardwares that can use instant messenger...
No, not to my knowledge you can't. I've tried and looked at all the settings and there isn't anything. So unfortunately no signatures for matrix owners..
yes.. all you have to do is call ATT and tell them to disable the internet.. if you have the unlimited text, picture, video messaging in your plan.. then disabling the internet will block your daughters from the doing the picture and video messaging..
