Flip your mouse over and remove the bottom, take the ball out, look very close at the little tiny gears, grab something small like a toothpick and remove all the dirt off all of the gears and your mouse will run like a top

MOUSE SCROLL HELP


Check that you are not using this on a shiny or smooth surface. i am assuming this is a laser mouse and not a ball type. These types prefer surfaces that are different, like top of a desk where this wood grain. This is how the mouse knows how far it has moved by comparing one part of the surface to another.

The mouse works perfectly find outside my games but once you move into the game and to move your crosshair to aim it jumps rather than smoothly scroll in the direction you move

it sounds like it may be out of time and in the case you need to replace timing belt and pulleys and get retimed

Jerky mouse


Try using a different Mouse Pad or surface. This is a cause of jerky and erratic mouse movement.
