Question about Dryers
Our Kenmore Evenheat electric dryer, model 62062100, goes through random periods of shutting off after a few minutes, so we bought a new thermator.
We tried to remove the back panel of the dryer but to no avail.
Problem #1: Now the screws will not align even though the panel never appear to shift. Help?
Problem #2: Where is the thermator located and how do we access it?
Thanks in advance!
ACCESS IS THROUGH THE FRONT LOWER PANEL AND THE LIMIT SWITCH OR T-STAT Is NEAR THE BLOWER AND HEATING ELEMENT.MAKE SURE POWER IS OUT AND ALSO CHECK THE DRYER VENT FOR LINT AND CLOGS.
