How do I replace the light in a Panasonic Inverter microwave?

Unfamiliar as I am with the "Inverter", most microwaves have a few screws holding the cover on to the base.
When the cover is removed, you should see a light.
If you would like a schematic of all this, try typing your model number in to the required box at the web-site named "searspartsdirect" and that might be helpful.
God bless your efforts.

Can I replace the lamp in a panosonic microwave oven model NN CT 857

Hi.

The lamp replacement requires complete removal of the oven external casing. The oven must be tested for radiation leakage after the repair. The replacement must be done by a trained technician. Disassembling procedure is illustrated on the service manual available here: Panasonic Service/repair manuals, schematics.

Regards.

Schematic diagram

Have you removed the outer case? Sometimes the schematic (and other troubleshooting and calibrating procedure information) is located there. I found such info for a GE microwave (made by Samsung) in an envelope taped to the top of the inside case.

Fuse location

Check for Manufacturer specific schematic
.
If you do not know what a schematic is, have proper tools, DVM and knowledge, please stop repair attempt.

Most microwave MAIN fuses I have seen are the BUSS type which are typically clipped into a fuse holder. Other BUSS fuses may be internal to the power supply or in a line fuse holder (Black Plastic)

Door Key Broke on Microwave Door

To replace the inner part of the latch is actually quite easy. Remove the glass tray from inside, then unplug the unit. Take to a flat surface and stand on edge so that the door will open flat. On the inside is a plastic trim that is just clipped on. Pop this off carefully and you will now see the assembly you need to replace. Note where the spring is anchored to the door before taking it apart. Put a small amount of lubricant on the guide pins of the new catch (petroleum jelly works great).

Microwave starts, then shuts off

I highly suggest you look over on google for a Ytube post under metacafe.com for microwave repair, , a professional repair man will take you through the paces of diagnosing a microwave safely, seeing is believing. I suspect your problem is with one of the several microswitches that are usually easy to access and don't require touching anything dangerous, and can cost only a few dollars to replace. This site can link you to parts houses that have model specific parts, the only downside is that they don't have schematics, those appear to be locked up by people who sell service manuals that carry the schematics, so you really need to do as much of your own research as possible. There are other links to sites that carry a troubleshooting list. They state "switches are 75% of the all the problems" people have. Here is a good one: http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/micfaq.htm#micintrlk

I sincerely hope this helps you help yourself, good luck !
