This is French for "food alarm" but a better translation is "power alarm"
This message is normal if the video connector is removed or loose, it can also happen if you are running a fullscreen program or game with an incompatible screen resolution.
Another possiblitiy is that the graphics card could be loose in the slot or overheating, especially since you said it happens for no reason.

Well, Gestion Alim is French for "Power Management." It means that your computer is shutting off power to the video using the ACPI power settings, probably stand-by or hibernation. Bring up the Power Management settings in your operating system (in Windows, it's the Display icon in the Control Panel) and change them to something more reasonable. If you want to disable them completely in Windows, change to "Presentation" and make sure that hard disks and display are both set to "Never" shut-off.

Sometimes this can be caused with memory problems Reseat the memory by switching off the G5 then take out the memory and replace it back. It could be that it is slightly loose. Hope this helps.

LG Flatron L177WSB-how would I use my newly purchased unit after switching it on, LG logo appears followed by the Power Saving Mode it all goes black on the screen.

Hi, the Power Saving Mode, turns the screen off to conserve energy. On the remote, press Menu, and scan to Power Saving Mode. You can change the amount of time, when the Screen turn-off, the TV shut-off etc. You can set the time to (5 min) to, (never, turn-off). This should help with your problem. Thanks paul7of9

Monitor is turning off, loosing screen.

your not being really specific, but if the screen is shutting off right away after turning it on, you have either a power supply problem, or its possible the on/off button switch is not working properly. Repairs on flat screens are usually around $80.00 + parts.

if its a screen saver or your computer going into standby mode you can change that in the control panel under display and going to power settings

thanks

When I turn on my my lg flatron w1952tq monitor, the message ''analogique gestion alim'' appears and then the screen goes dark. How can I fix this?

possible defective capacitor C202, if I remember well.

is 680 microF/ 25 volts with polatiry and is in output of power supply.

The defective capacitor has a visible... bump on top :) (in case that is not the C202)

At least this was the reason to my monitor.

LG Flatron L1750S LCD won't display anything...

Hi,

To your concern, a couple of suggestions:
  • if you could try again a reputable electronics service center/shop, pls mention for them to look at the CCF (cold cathode florescent) lamps, the inverter and/or the main board;
  • the blinking light is significant, it could indicate loss of video signal or internal protection kicking in;
  • possibly heat related, check for any of the capacitors bulging or leaking.
If they would reference a service manual or a schematic diagram, pls relay that it is chassis CL-82 for an LG L1750S. Foremost to check would be for the presence of both the 12 and 5 volts,.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
