Accidentally ripped powercord into half and it is discontinued all over internet.What are my options to fix it myself?

I would find an extension cord of similar diameter. Cut the "female" end off, and open your saw up. Connect the cut end of the new cord to the same colors ...

This should not be difficult.

Loaned a Skil 5150 to a friend and when he returned it, the saw seems to run slow and the brushes produce lots of spark.

You will need to change the brushes for sure.Easy job at least.There are two types of brushes,The ones that can be fixed without taking the saw apart.The other brushes once you open the case and look at the front of the brush holders you will see some small holes.Take out the old brushes and push the new brush past the holes and push a piece of wire through the holes.Make sure the wire is long enough to go through a vent so you can pull it out when every thing on the body is buttoned up.

I use a piece of cardboard or Styrofoam to keep track of the bolts by just poking them in as I take them out,a magnet is good for the small stuff.

Husqvarna 51 died and wont restart

hi
if you have a good compression,a strong enough blue spark and carburetion for the fuel air mixture try priming the engine(put small amount of gas in the spark plug hole)then start the engine.If the engine runs only the gas you put inside the cilinder there is a carburetion problem to find and fix.
let me know regards savumihai71

My stove up was about to blow up!! saw some blue lights flickering inside the stove!! please help

Find the 50 amp breaker and turn it off or pull out the bottom drawer and yank the cord out. Your bake element is probably shot. Arc welding itself to oblivion. Easy repair.
