Question about Panasonic KX-FPC95 Plain Paper Thermal transfer Fax

Handset volume KX-FPC95 Handset volume is LOW even on highest setting. I even bought a new battery and the volume is very low. Any ideas?

When I dial a phone number the volume Beeps) are way too loud.

If the handset: Press FUNCTION, 6, 8, then use the <- -> keys to select either LOW, HIGH, OR AMPLIFY, then press SET, then STOP

If you need to set the speaker volume use FUNCTION, 6, 3, etc.

No, but try printing out a JOURNAL to see who sent it. Fax them back and ask for another copy

Check the volume...

Ringer volume

3 levels (high/low/off) are available.

Make sure the handset is idle.


2 Scroll to “Ringer volume” by pressing {down} or {up} repeatedly, and press {right arrow}.

3 Press {down} or {up} repeatedly to select the desired volume.

4 Press {right arrow}.

This is the handset volume

To turn the ringer OFF:

Press {down} repeatedly until “Ringer off” is displayed in step 3.

Fax not working

unfortunately it sounds like the thermal head is defective, could possibly be a few other things but either of them to be fixed is going to be not far off the cost of a new mc, probably better to put the money into a new one rather than pour money into an older mc, before you do though, check the paper/film for anything visually wrong.

Try Ths on the handset Be sure the TALK indicator is off.Press LOUD/RINGER button on the handset, the curreent ringerwill sound. To change the Volume press the LOUD/RINGERagain within 5 secs , and the new ringer will sound, you must press LOUD/RINGER within 5 secs or the volume will not change.
