Hopefully it is something as simple as your thermostat is just set to fan "on". If it is, set it to auto.

My blower motor works sometimes, but sometimes not. It seems to work better if I am at higher speeds for a while. Is this most likely a blower motor or resister issue?

bet on the motor on this one, sounds worn,at higher speeds the vibration can help the brushes in the blower motor work better.
you can test my theroy by giving the blower mortor a sharp tap while its running to see if it increases in speed.
if it does then you have your answer.
the brushes in the blower motor build up carbon deposits over time and cause the motor to slow down.by tapping the motor the deposits release and allow the current to flow more freeley.
good luck,Gary

Nordyne Split System Blower Won't Start

It's the fan motor. A relay problem would cause the motor not to run at all.

Blower motor quite running. Checked all brakers for the furance. none were tripped. Do the 110 volt motors have a mortor overload reset?

Hello, the blower motor will stop running for one of three reasons 1) bad control board 2) bad capacitor 3) the motor itself is bad Usually once the motor cools off the overload will reset .

I have a compaq cq61 laptop , before few days my laptop fan stopped working nd my laptop back side getting verry hot after using 30 minutes ..bt laptop nt getting shuts off bt laptop is getting verry slow...

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
also you could buy a laptop usb cooling pad 3-LED FAN USB NOTEBOOK LAPTOP COOLING COOLER PAD STAND or something similiar the cooling pads are very cheap and very good thing for your laptop
hope this helps

Blower does not run all the time

The blower motor is located under the hood on the passenger side. With the key in the run position and the blower motor switch set on high tap the blower motor with the plastic end of a screwdriver. If it starts to work replace it. If it doesn't start to work check to make sure it has power and a good ground.

Turned on a/c unit no air blowing from vents. unit is on out side runing

2 things could be the problem 1 The blower motor capacitor has one out. This is a small oval or round piece that the wiring to the blower motor is attached if this is out the blower motor will not work. 2nd. the blower motor itself has burnt out. Replace the capacitor and the motor together should you have to change out the motor. Good luck hope this helps

Blower not working

check your thermostat first to see if it may need batteries (some of the newer types of thermostats requir batteries to work properly, These are the digital types) If there isn't any problems there then check the electrical panel to see if there is a breaker for the furnance and if it has been tripped. If not, go to the furnance closet and check to see if the unit is plugged into the electrical service for the furnance, if it is plugged in I would suggest checking to insure you have the correct voltage comintg into the system. If so and you do have correct voltage coming into the furnance then you have a bad blower motor or blower motor capacitor. The capacitor can be checked with a meter that checks capacitors I would have this checked first and then the motor However if you have to replace the motor at that time I would replace the capacitor. Good Luck hope this helps

What worng with my blower motor or is it the electrical

First, your charging system should not be putting out more than 14v. If it is you have a problem... regulator is bad. (surprised the blower motor is all you burned out)

On ac side blower not starting, all the time and system freezes

Most motors have a thermal cut out that is internal. If the motor overheats, it will shut down. If the unit is freezing up, that would indicate that there isn't enough airflow over the coils or the unit is low on refrigerant. I had a unit that did this same exact thing and after replacing the blower motor and a sequencer, in the end it was the t-stat. You are describing the same exact symptoms and every time I would go out, the unit would work fine. I would suggest replacing the t-stat and then watch the unit. But make sure that the coils are clean and you are not restricting airflow over the coils. Hopefully one of the techs actually looked at the coils to determine if they needed to be pulled and cleaned. Hopefully this answers your question.
