The printer will grab the cardstock that I am

hi....take it to a tech to check about the system control chip... the control chip would have gone bad... and they will replace u with a new chip..
or else Try manually moving the head carriage back and forth a few times!
Also check, if there isn't some piece of paper lodged inside, if yes try to remove it carefully!..
