Sounds like corrupted software (firmware). Contact any service technician to make it confirm.

SOURCE: pink screen

When the "pink screen" happens on my Polaroid FLM-1911 TV, I unplug the power cord from the back of the unit, wait 30 seconds, and replug it. This fixes the problem.

SOURCE: WHERE To BUY power boards for emerson 32" FS TV

I had the same problem. Mine gave out in 4 months. Those boards are hard to find right now. Google the the board# BA71FOFO1042 and someone like (buyjimmy.com) I think will sell TV parts. If not, you can fix the board itself like I did. Mine was a bad inverter transformer. If you need the parts# for anything let me know, I have the Service Manual for the TV. Good Luck

SOURCE: lg lcd tv keeps changing chanels

Come on, lets try to solve this. Take the batteries out of the remote so it can't interfere and try changing the channels and volume with the buttons on the tv. If this works then someone has spillled something onto the remote and gummed it all out. You simply need to take the remote apart and clean it out. If the buttons on the tv do th same as the remote did then yes, take it back.

How to find code for Emerson flat screen to program universal remote

Universal remotes come with a manual that will give you a list of codes for your brand TV. Most universal remotes also have a "learning" option that allows you to "cycle" through codes automatically until it works with your TV.

Emerson TV model ld32oem5, looking for a repair kit, screen flashes and sound goes out right after start up. The flash looks like you were at the movie theater and the reel started breaking.

Try unplugging all source cables. Turn tv off. Unplug for about 15mins. Plug back up connect all cables and see what happens. Repost results so we can try and help resolve.

I hit the source button, and now my screen is blank with hdm1 in corner

No problem. Keep pushing the "source" button until it goes back to "tuner". You should see "component", "s-video",etc.. also. These are the various "sources" that can be plugged into your TV. To watch regualr TV, you need "tuner"...
Good Luck.

Input source menu scrolls continously

I had this same issue, however it happened to be the HDMI cable that I used that was causing it, no idea why. I knew the cable didn't work well with my PS4 connected to the TV. But I used that same cable to connect my PC to the TV and the Input menu was going nuts. I disconnected the HDMI from the PC was still doing it, soon as I disconnected the HDMI from the TV it stopped. Just an FYI.

Emerson blue screen and source list only shows TV

Check the remote control with fresh batteries. Check its infrared emission. It sounds that the fault is with remote control itself. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.

Blank screen

Any error message about inputs? Maybe that clicking sound happens when iit connects to the selected input, but nothing is connected. Can you scroll thru all the inputs? If so, turn on any devices connected to the JVC and scroll thru each input to find the one you're looking for.

19 or 20" Emerson TV (looks like EWF2004) about 6

The power source is forced to deliver more power than what it's rated for because the capacitors have aged and have started to lose their insulating properties so much that when heated by the normal functioning a lot of current is wasted thru them - they start to act like a short.
You must replace all of them ASAP or they will fail and the entire tv will be fried.

It being emerson 32" hdtv lcd turns on but immediately turns off

This is Emerson's #1 problem.
The Inverter Transformer on the power supply/backlight inverter board goes bad. It's what powers up the screen for your TV. When the part goes bad, it doesn't have enough juice to power the screen and the TV automatically turns off. You have 5 Inverter Transformer on your board.
You can fix the problem by replacing the whole board or replace the bad Inverter Transformer.
Here's where you can get a new board for a good price:

Or, here's where you can get replacement Inverter Transformers:
