I have a Regal breadmaker purchased in the U.S.. The model number is K6761 and the part would be shipped to Quebec, Canada. The belt broke that is under the steel cover on the bottom of breadmaker. It...

Regalware discontinued sales of their breadmakers in 1999. Replacement parts are no longer available from Regalware or from other online replacement part suppliers.

You might try taking your breadmaker to your nearest small appliance repair shop to see if there are able to source a generic belt for your machine.

If you have the old broken belt or are able to determine the size and type of belt required, you could try contacting an industrial belt supplier. For example this site will ship to Quebec.

I trust this is helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!

How to get a new photo conductor as cheaply as possible?

There are "cheap" alternatives available. I understand they are re-manufactured in the USA. Cost here in UK is about £100 instead of about £180 currently. However, I have found these to be a disaster! The most frequent problem is E551 error which means the rubber belt, (the big wide one inside the photconductor) has slipped to one side and the small metallic plate is no longer read by the optical sensor unit. You can labouriously move it back to the centre but, about 50 copies later it will fail again. One some of these I've had the main roller fall out into the printer......that's potentially fatal to the printer. I was sent 4 of these by one of my regular suppliers to trial; - ALL - of them failed and my supplier no longer deals with the company concerned. I run 10 of these C1100N's on the site and use only Epson photoconductors. Speaking to other "techies" they've found alternatives are nothing but trouble. Alternative toner cartridges yes, they work fine....don't buy too cheap! But photoconductors, I don't recommend it. Bite the bullet and buy the proper one it'll be cheaper in the long run.

I was given a Remington 2.5 HP Elec Saw without the owner's manual. What type of oil is needed ? ?

This is one of the better OMs (model M30016AS) available for a Remington (they are no longer in production, parts are becoming hard to find):

I can't find a replacement saw blade for my remington M30016aw saw

Are you aware RemingtonPower is no longer in production (name purchased by MTD)? I am not certain whether you need a bar or chain so I provide both. I ask you retrace my steps to verify the part numbers I supply.
A link to an OM for your saw follows:
A parts listing is near the end of the manual. Items 2 (bar, pn EL16SB if 16" $22.99) and 3 (chain, 16SC if 16" $17.99) apply.
Both are available here: (authorized parts supplier)
Please use the phone and a credit card to protect yourself should problems arise; get the name of your service rep.

Please count the drive links (the part that fits in the bar groove) and verify there are 58 (16" chain).
You can likely take your existing chain to a local chainsaw seller/mechanic where it can be duplicated cheaper in about 5 minutes.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.
Thank You for using FixYa.

Do alternator belts go by any other name ? Husband just had new alternator installed and was told the belt is worn. What do i ask for? and does the same belt go by different names?

Hi Charterdhear,
The proper name is the serpentine accessory drive belt.(Or serpentine belt for short). One belt drives all the components on the engine. The car you are asking about has different engine sizes available. You will need to know the size when ordering the part. They will also ask if you have air conditioning. Let me know if you need any other information. Thanks,Chuck
