Disintergrating black cardboard material related to water leaking

Re our Kitchenaid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDK01TKBL0 - Upon witnessing water pouring out the front lower door area, found pieces of black, sticky cardboard material, loose and falling out the bottom of machine behind door. Appears to be breaking into pieces and getting caught in door when closed. Can't find reference to this material in any parts list. What is it, and is it safe to run dishwasher with this material seemingly disintergrating. Help!

I have a two drawer KitchenAid KUDD01DPPA. Upon pushing the start button on either drawer the dishwashers will start. then within a minute they turn red and beep non stop and the dishwashers do not run

Usually this indicates a leak. Open the bottom drawer and look underneath and behind it in the base of the frame and see if there is water sitting in there. If so, dry it out with towels. Once all the water is dried out run the dishwasher again. If the same thing happens and the water returns you will have to find the source of the leak. Sometimes its just a temporary leak from a tall item obstructing the lids from closing and sealing all the way.

Need trouble codes for a Kitchenaid dishwasher

If you are getting a particular code then I could help you find the solution.
However, the full service manual can be purchased for about $10 from here and would have all the codes.

BUZZING SOUND WHEN RUNNING

It sounds as if there is something in the bottom part of the dishwasher arm (it sprays the water around the bottom of the dishwasher). I would suggest that you take out the baskets and then remove and clean all of the parts that water comes out of as well as the bottom drain. If this works or does not, I would also suggest that you run an empty load using 1/4 cup vinegar. Hope this helps!

KitchenAid KUDR01TJ Dishwasher Cleaning Problem

Sinder...this sounds more like a water temperature issue than anything else. First, turn on your hot tap. If you can't hold your hand under it after it fully heats (over 125)...you should be okay. If not, raise your water temp or use the sani cycle to raise the temp. Change brands of detergent. Salt...I don't think so. You're using detergent...not soap...which would have been affected. Pressure should not be an issue...once the unit is filled, it makes its own pressure recirculating with the wash pump.
