you have java enabled phone mate you can download tons of game for your mobile avalable on papular site like www.mobile9.com. your phone supports .jar extension types application. that means application name should end with .jar for example asphalt.jar you must download game through your mobile because in some samsung phone they need to install through online. your phone screen resolution is 176 x 220. search java game for 176 x 220 resolution.
In samsung we can not directly installed the JAVA applications. You need to have ".jar" as well as ".jad" files of the application which you wanna to install. Copy both the files in to your phone, then run the .jad file.... you can not run .jar files in samsung... by this way I m able to install the applications on my Samsung S3500....
Hope this has helped you...
In Samsung s3310 mobile, installing games is itself a big task and you did that.
The reason is only games folder can run Java executable files(.jar) files. When we move Java executable files(.jar) to application folder,it cannot execute the .jar file. Therefore the applications like call tracer which runs in background mode could be installed but cannot run in s3310.
only games and applications like dictionary(which does not need background running mode) can run in Samsung s3310 in games folder.
Transfer the .jar & .jad files to the Other Files folder. You can transfer the files using Samsung PC StudioPhone Explorer, or you can transfer the files to the memory card and move them to the Other Files folder from the phone's menu.
Exit all menus and Dial: *#9998*4678255# - This will activate the Java Install menu.
On your phone, Go to the Other Files folder >> Select the .jad file >> Press Options (Left touch key) >> Message displays: Do you want to install>> Press Yes to install.
nakapaginstall na po akong games sa SGH-M620... >download jadmaker(pa search nlng po sa google) >download .JAR file at gawan ng .JAD file gamit ang jadmaker >copy sa mem card > otherfiles (both .jar and .jad file) >pag nasa fone na... >dial *#9998*4678255# >then may dialog box na "activated" >go back to the other files of your mem card.. >move the .jar and .jad files to your fone mem.. >then there will promt an install procedure afterwards >OR go to my files>other files>on the .JAD file there is an option(left button) then "Install"
This error may be because of 1. the JAR file size limit on your cellphone. 2. the file itself is corrupt. 3. the file has install site locked. (some java games can only be downloaded and installed from a particular site)
