It sounds like you have the 12 volt constant wire connected but not the accessory wire. 12 volt constant will usually allow you to eject or insert a disc into a radio, even when the car is off, but to actually play anything, you have to have the accessory wire connected to accessory power. Pull the radio out and make sure the accessory wire is connected and getting voltage when your key is in the accessory position (the first notch forward in most modern cars, or the backwards notch in some older cars). If you're not getting power to the radio in accessory mode, check the fuse on the red wire behind the radio to make sure it isn't blown, check the connection of your radio's harness to the aftermarket harness to make sure there is a good connection there. Also, check your fuse panel to make sure your radio's fuse is intact. Depending on the car, you could have other things in the car not getting power that are on the same circuit, such as the dome light, door chime, or 12V charger plug. You could also temporarily splice the 12V and accessory wires at your radio both to the harness's 12V memory (battery) wire, which will tell you for sure that you may not be getting power to the accessory wire, if the radio now turns on and actually plays (even with the key off, b/c the accessory lead would now be getting power all the time.

As a sanity check run a temporary wire directly from the battery positive to the radio. Twist the red and yellow wires together and connect it to the wire from the battery. If this works either your red or yellow wire connection under the dash or to the harness is not hot like you think. Yellow usually goes to a constant 12 volt source (to keep radio memory) and the red wire to 12volts when the ignition is on. In some radios this is reversed. The test I mentioned will determin if the problem is in the wiring or the radio.

Look at the enwood. I bet you have the remote wire hooked to the blue wire insted of the blue/white wire. The blue wire goes dad when you play a cd as it is for a power antenna. The blue/white wire is your amp turn on.
Now, if you do not have a blue/whie and only blue, then obviously that circuit in the radio is bad in whch case your only other option s are either connecting it to an accesory fuse or using a toggle switch connected to power.

first off the amp gets power straight from the battery. the amp is used to power the subs. the subs are suppose to be connected to the amp only( never the speakers).
for the second part you mostlikely killed the wires. you should get some one to look at it and check the wires. thee speakers might need to be re-wired

You have your accessory wire (red wire) and remote ran together and the yellow (constant wire ran separately in the dash?
You need the red wire to so you can use accessory and to turn off your cd player when your vehicle turns off.
You need the yellow wire to keep all your settings stored. base/treble/time clock
Just a little clarification. Your amp turns on with the remote wire (blue) wire, if that is not hooked up you will get no power to the amp.
Here's the in-dash diagram to your vehicle at the bottom of this pdf.

Do you happen to have an after market wiring harness? These can be bought from walmart for your vehicle. You just take the male end connect the colors together and plug end that goes to your cd player into the female end. Very easy to do.

You could also have one of these fuses out under your hood, that might cause you to lose power to everything.
