Make sure your phone is compatible with memory cards ((if that's what your inserting)). Some phone won't support a large memory card.

Even I inserted the sim card phone shows Insert sim card? How to solve it?

Well it is either a problem with the SIM card or the phone. First you should test out your SIM card.

Put the SIM in a friend's phone. If you put the SIM card in this other phone but it still says insert sim card, then it is the SIM that is no good. If the SIM works fine in the other phone, it would be the phone that is the problem.

SD Card is inserted, but message reads "SD Card blank or has unsupported file system". Can I do anything to remedy this?

Hi jerilee436,
Let's start with easiest thing first... Take out your SD card and re-insert it and see if your phone picks it up. (If you don't already know this is how you locate the SD card:
If that doesn't work, you can try putting your SD card into a card reader (You may already have one on your computer. However, if you don't ask try asking a friend if they have one OR you can purchase one from here: If the card works in your computer try formatting it and putting it back into your phone. Still doesn't work? Try a different SD card in the phone. If that ALSO doesn't work then you likely have a bad card reader in your phone :'( You'll have to call up your cell phone provider and see what they can do from there.
Hope that helps!

Does not boot when i placed 1G of ddram each on the two slots while it works when i remove the other ram

As you said that it works when you connect one of the two so the forst thing that you can try is we need to check the slot if it is working fine .So put the card that is making the computer working to the other slot and check if the computer boots up to the desktop then it means that the slot is fine .

Similarly we will check the card if it is fine so insert one card at a time and if the computer does not boot up when one of the card is inserted then it tells us that the card is corrupt so exchange it.As the computer boots up with one card inserted so ther has to be an issue woth the card or one of the slots.

all the best......

8gb memory card fails to format

Hi Sir ==)
  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from or
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.
