Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
It is called a baffle. two screws hold each in place, and is is common for them to gradually loosen. it is also easy to tighten them back. open the door, there are 4 screws on each side inside door frame, remove them. then pull the front panel from the sides towad you, the pannel will come foward then lift up and set panel aside. there is 1 screw on each side holding the top down, remove them then top hinges up. you will be able to see the drum and as you turn it you can tighten the screws to all 3 baffles, then re-assemble. good luck. shane
