May be air locked. Try turning off all the knobs. Turn on the gas, wait 10 minutes, turn on the lighter knob again and try to light it.

We have Brazilian f5 that ignites the flame but when we release the knob it goes out


Either the thermocouple has failed or it is not heated up enough to keep gas flow going when you release the button. Also could be contaminated fuel. try holding the button for about ten seconds longer, If it still goes out when released, Either the fuel isn't burning hot enough or the thermocoulpe is failing.

Volume / audio control knob


Hi, did you ever get this fixed, if so for how much and where. I have the same problem with my knob, it does not control the volume level but you can still access the other functions that require you to push the knob, like a button. My remote battery is dead so I have not being able to test it, it's just the knob no longer controls the volume.

P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow OBD-II Trouble Code Technical Description Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
What does that mean? This indicates that a part of the EVAP control system is no longer fuctioning correctly. The EVAP system consists of many parts, including (but not limited to) the gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system
. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.
EVAP emission canister purge is contolled by a valve which allows engine vacuum to pull stored fuel vapors from fuel tank into the engine to be burned, rather than be vented to atmosphere. A vacuum switch is used to detect when flow exists. If the PCM commands purge and sees that the switch is closed (indicating no detected purge flow) P0441 is set.
copyscape.gif Symptoms Likely, no symptoms will be discernible to the driver, other than the illuminated Check Engine Light.
Causes A code P0441 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
  • Bad vacuum switch
  • Broken or damaged EVAP line or canister
  • Open in PCM purge command circuit
  • Open or short in Voltage feed circuit to Purge Solenoid
  • Faulty purge solenoid
  • Restriction in EVAP solenoid, line or canister
  • Corrosion or resistance in purge connector
  • Bad PCM
Possible Solutions With a P0441 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times. Here are some things to try:
  • Common Chrysler fix - Replace Leak Detection Pump / LDP
  • Repair damaged EVAP lines or canister
  • Repair open or short in voltage feed circuit to Purge Solenoid
  • Repair open in PCM purge command circuit
  • Replace purge Solenoid
  • Replace vacuum switch
  • Repair restriction in Evap line or canister or soleniod
  • Repair resistance in purge connector
  • Replace PCM

I am renting a house with a ge profile refrige model no PSS27SGPASS. My food keeps freezing in the refrige. I keep raising the temp but that does not help what can I do I do not have a manual is there a...


That model has a electric powered damper that opens or shuts to reduce or increase the flow of cold air from freezer. Sometimes they stick open and will not close. It's quite expensive to replace. And the temperature control board is also expensive. I believe it's time to talk to the Landlord and get them on the project. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Hello,

Check the excess flow safety device, which is part if the barbeque to cylinder connection, may have activated. To reset the excess flow safety device turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve off.
Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to high. Wait at least 1 minute . Turn burner control knobs OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. turn cylinder valve slowly. I HAD THIS PROBLEM JUST LAST NIGHT AND FIXED IT RIGHT THEN.

I have the same problem with my windstar blower is fine but is coming cold air but no heat i dont know what to do can any one show me how to fix it thnx


First, feel the heater hoses going into the firewall under the hood. If they are hot, then you have hot engine coolant going into the heater core. If they are not hot, then you either have a bad thermostat or you are very low on engine coolant.

Next you need air flowing through the heater core so it can come out heated through your vents. If the iar is flowing somewhere else, your temp blend door is not moving because the bend door motor is bad or your temp knob on your heater controls is bad. The blend door motor is an electric motor.

Air Flow Control
Air flow control is accomplished in the following manner:
  • Primary control is through the function selector knob , mounted on the heater function selector switch, which is part of the heater control .
  • The function selector knob has the following positions: OFF, PANEL, PANEL/FLOOR, FLOOR, FLOOR/DEFROST and DEFROST.
  • The heater function selector switch combines a vacuum selector valve with an internal electrical switch.
  • The vacuum selector valve directs source vacuum to various vacuum control motors (18A318) . Refer to the System Airflow Schematic and Vacuum Control Charts.
  • An internal single-pole electrical switch is also controlled by the selector. The switch controls the electrical supply to the heater blower motor switch (18578) .
  • The position of the function selector knob determines the manner in which the system will operate.
  • Each position of the function selector knob is detented for positive engagement.
Temperature Control
The temperature control operates in the following manner:
  • Temperature control of the heater system is determined by the position of the temperature control knob (between COOL-BLUE and WARM-RED) of the heater control .
  • This control knob is connected to a potentiometer mounted in the heater control . This potentiometer is electrically connected to the electric blend door actuator that operates the A/C air temperature control door.

  • Movement of the control knob from COOL (Blue) to WARM (Red) causes a corresponding movement on the air temperature control door and determines the temperature that the system will maintain.
System uses a reheat method to provide conditioned air to the passenger compartment.
  • All airflow from the blower motor (18527) passes through the A/C evaporator housing .
  • Temperature is then regulated by reheating a portion of the air and blending it with the remaining cool air to the desired temperature.
  • Temperature blending is varied by the air temperature control door, which regulates the amount of air that flows through and/or around the heater core (18476) , where it is then mixed and distributed.

DeLonghi DFS 090 SO DUAL FUEL ELECTRIC COOKER NO LONGER HEATS UP. The grill and fan works but the electric oven no longer works.


I had the same problem,it was something to do with the oven knob switch ,i got an engineer out to fix mine or else just buy a new knob hope this helps
