Hi, Your friend's motherboard ECS P4M800pro-M2) has a processor problem which is common with all 775 processors. Remove heat sink and fan. Remove processor and put it back carefully making sure it rests nicely on all the pins. Press it down with your finger and lock the bracket back. Put back the heat sink and fan. It should start, just like my motherboard with same problem.
