When you switch between objectives, you don't want to have to refocus every time. By getting a microscope with objectives that are parfocal, you'll be able to move between <b>objectives<b> without much need for refocusing.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: parfocal microscope

Are you able to focus on the specimen? Is the problem the same if you switch to a higher magnification lens?
Could be several things, a slider half way in, a turret not clicked in to the notch, ie condenser, a filter partway in.

INtel Play QX3 microscope 64 bits driver

http://download.cnet.com/Intel-Play-QX3-Microscope/3000-2110_4-104288.html worked for me Win 7 64 bit. You may need to run in compatibility mode. Search for that if that turns out to be the problem.

I own a MRJ-03 Premiere microscope with the a bad electric board. How can I get spare parts for it? abnernm@hotmail.com

I have the same problem and can't find parts anywhere. Premiere Microscopes doesn't answer their phone or return calls and their customer service email keeps rejecting everything I send. Please let me know too if there are parts available for this microscope.
