Question about Linksys WRT54GC Wireless Router
I do not get internet service while my router is hooked to the ethernet cable so i think i need to get my router reconfigured or reset. I have the password when I first set up the router about 3 years ago. I just do not know how and linksys wants me to pay them to do it.... not wanting to go this route.... internet connection works re routing the ethernet cable from modm directly into laptop..... THX!!!!!
You may reset the router set the router back to factory default. Username is blank and password will be admin..

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults, you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.
if there a small hole in the front or back of the router push a hair pin in to reset to factory settings
