I have a GE 6.0 cordless and my wife somehow locked the reciever. How do I unlock it since i can't find the manual?

I just did the same thing. Press and hold the # button until you hear a beep....this should unlock the keypad and the lock sign will disappear. Its a good function to have when you have kids around.....they cannot dialout except 911 but you can still ake incoming calls.
