How do i reset panasonic c264 drum unit - Panasonic WORKiO DP-C262 Printer

On this specific unit, the drum actually has a small resister on the back of the drum unit that resets the machine when a new drum unit is installed. Your options are either to replace the drum unit with a new one or find the exact resistor from your local electronics store and replace it ( not recommended as the drum life is already reached) there is nowhere a menu that lets you reset the drum. on the back of the drum unit is a little "flag" that activates a sensor when you insert the drum to reset the drum counter. if the drum is replaced incorrectly or is from a poor supplier then the flag will be in the wrong position and when inserted will not reset the counter. try another black drum to reset the counter, do not discard the drum as the technician that visits in future can reset the flag for you.

First of you will have to purcahse a Panasonic Drum Unit for you fax.

Inside the drum unit yu will have detailed instructions, you will open up the fax in the front take aout the old and install the new.

In the copier mode go into f7 mode and reset the drum or process unit count this should clear it

disingage dv unit lower transport assembly remove blue screw from drum unit take drum unit out remove drum lock towards the front remove charge assemby remove drum reinstall drum remember to apply drum powder and replacement of drum blade is recommended reinstall

I think this machine does not have a reset option instead you can reset manually.All you have to do is on the right side of drum unit there exist a white + type notch,rotate it clockwise till it allows.Put back drum unit into machine.Switch on and see replace drum and supplies message will disappear.In my case it worked.Hope this is the best solution.All the best

At the front of the unit, you'll see a "T" shaped flag. Remove the cover, 1 screw, two snaps. Reset the flag down (into the cover). When the auger gear starts turning, the flag will go up & reset the drum count. Have fun Wolf,
