I have a GE Frontloader Dryer, model# SBSD227FWW

I have a that stopped drying. It will come on, tumbler tumbles, dryer gets hot inside, but the clothes stay wet. I have checked the lint filter, vent, and the hose is clear. I have noticed condensation on the inside edges of the door and some underneath the dryer. Is there anything I can do?

outside vent is fine. this happened once before and a couple days later it began to work. why would there be condensation coming from under the dryer?

Common problem result from you having a clog in your home vent.....wil need to check outside vent while unit is running on air dry for air flow....could also be a vent motor failure....depending on unit it may have a motor just for the exhaust fan.

Dyer really hot, not drying clothes

Is the dryer tumbling? If not, you may have a broken belt or some other drive assembly issue.

Also, turn the dryer on and go outside to the vent discharge - you should feel air coming out at a pretty good clip. If not, the vent line is obstructed and will need to be cleaned out.

GE Dryer Model #DWSR483EB2WW Dryer tumbles,

Does it get hot when you start the dryer, and never gets hot again when its running? The solenoid wire might be opening due to heat, the solenoid is responsible for opening the gas valve, and booster valve. The wire is located in a round plastic sleeve with two electrical contacts sticking out.

My ge dryer model # dcb330gb2wc will not get hot. The clthes tumble but are still wet after a c ouple of cycles

HI. Check the below details to address this issue further.

Note: Normal drying time for a dryer is about 45 minutes (some may take up to an hour).

1. Venting
Make sure the dryer vent hose, as well as the rest of the vent duct, is not clogged.

Unless regular maintenance is performed, chances are there is a lot of lint accumulated inside the dryer. This might affect the drying time and could be a fire hazard. Make sure to have your dryer cleaned regularly. Because this might involve taking most of the dryer apart, it is recommended to have a qualified appliance repairman perform this task.

2. Thermostat
There are a couple of cycling thermostats inside the dryer. If one of them breaks down, it might affect the dryer's performance. Replace the defective thermostat.

Mayteg model DE313 clothes dryer that stopped drying clothes.

That is a very accurate assessment of the problem. Check the element for continuity between its two contacts. If there is none, replace it. If there is, look for a fuse on the side with two wires going to it. Test it for continuity. If there is none, replace it.

I have a Kenmore 70 Series gas dryer, model 76712691. The dryer has 3 plastic ''tumblers'' inside the dryer, to help the clothes tumble. Two of the tumblers have fallen off inside, leaving big holes inside...

Pull the dryer away from the wall, there is no bottom on the dryer, so the screws should be on the floor.
You can then pop the lid up from the front and fold it back. When you do, you will see the drum. Roll the drum around until you see the holes and reattach the tumblers.
You can also access the drum from below. Tip the dryer on its back and you can see the drum from the bottom.
Good luck.
