Rheem corsair. Just replaced control board and now igniter come on , burner lights but doesn't stay lit. Took out flame sensor and sanded and replaced. Still same issue . Is the sensor bad or can i

If the sensor does not I.D. a pilot, the furnace would not fire, so your OK to this point. The sensor needs to stay in a flame constantly once the main burners light. Sometimes the draft will cause the flame to waver and cause a shutdown. Also, if the blower fan does not start on time, the furnace will shut down. I would check for wavering first.

Bought new hose, attached to grill and new bottle of gas, burners wont light.

Turn the grill tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank. Wait 5 Minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank. But, this time, open the tank valve VERY, VERY, SLOWLY (Slow motion. slow) Until the valve is fully open. Light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to HIGH. Did the burner light and does the flame height look correct? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Did all the burners light and do the flame heights look correct? If so, you solved the problem (with a little help). Remember to always open the tank valve very, very, slowly.

Happy Grilling!!

Just purchased new Brinkman 5 burner Pro series. Worked fine when I tested it but now the main burner is the only one that will ignite and it won't stay on. The side burner works great.

First, check the gas line hose from the tank to the grill. Look for kinks or twisting that would restrict the flow of gas to the burners. If you find any, turn the gas tank valve OFF, disconnect the hose from the tank and straighten the hose, before reconnecting it to the tank. Then open the gas valve Very, Very Slowly, until it's fully open.

If you didn't find any kinks or twist, do the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF, Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes.
2. Turn on any pair of burners to High for io minute and then turn them OFF.
3. After 5 minutes has elapsed, reconnect the hose to the tank.
4. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY, SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow) until it's fully open.
5. Light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn it to HIGH. Does the flame height look
correct? If so, light the remaining burners the same way. Do all the flame heights look correct?
If so, you solved the problem!

Hope this helped you . Please let me know and Happy Grilling.

Burner slows when writing. takes over hour per disc. sometimes fails completely or much is corrupted.

make sure your cd/dvd burner is getting consistent power test all of the leads that attach including electrical to your cd/dvd burner make sure the connections are good and dust free or just replace they might be faulty

you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd then plug them back this should activate the found new hardware wizard or
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall your DVD/CD then reinstall the driver for this device
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down cd dvdrom drives if you see a yellow question or exclamation mark?! or a red x right click you will need to update the driver or
select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver

hope this helps

My stove lights very slow with a low flame. Should the igniter stay on after it lights oven

Yes the ignitor stays on even after the burner is lit. The ignitor is wired in series with the oven valve. It sounds like the oven valve isn't opening all the way. A new ignitor should solve this problem. The old igniter builds up resistance and doesn't let the correct voltage through to the oven valve for it to open properly.

Burner light stays on

Hi,

This is caused by a faulty sensor that is located between the burner element and the top. To replace the faulty part you will need to uninstall the cooktop and remove the glass top. The sensor is a rod a little smaller than a pencil that you will see right on top of that burner.

If you choose not to replace the sensor it will not cause any issues other than you will have to live with that light constantly on and you will know when the top is hot for that element.
