Your dealer should have the schematic for your vacuum lines. If not , Auto Zone sells the manual for your car type. However, it is not uncommon to have hoses left over. The extra hoses could be for accessories your car is not equipped with. Hope this helps.

There is a vacuum hose diagram under the hood at the vehicle emission sticker, this is unique to your calibration and car

Engine is running properly; no suction; hose attached properly and it is not plugged, what to do?

Look for trapped lint in the hole up and behind the beater bar. Down in the hole the hose hooks to. This a general answer and not specific.

Kirbyg4 shutting off while in use

First thing to check is cord to make sure no bad spots anywhere. If the bag emptor is not installed properly there is a switch that will not allow vacuum to run. There is another switch that is depressed when the power nozzle, hose or carpet cleaner is installed on the front of your Kirby. If the switch is not being depressed properly it can keep the vacuum from running.

How to replace the flexible hose between the upright and floor modules?

Turn the vacuum on it's side. Pull the power nozzle end out. Unscrew, in a clockwise direction, the hose from the body/tank.
Reverse to install new hose. Screw the hose into the tank, turning counter-clockwise. Place other end into power nozzle. Ensure it's set properly.

My hoover mach 6 bagless overheats, shuts off for about an 1 hr will run again, all filters are clean, no blocks in hoses, how can i fix this problem

This is telling you that there is poor air flow or a blockage somewhere. To simply check for proper suction, remove the accessory hose to see if there is normal suction, if not then your problem is further in the unit. Troubleshooting from there will tell you where the problem is. Another possibility is that your thermal overload circuit is faulty. in this case a pro vac shop needs to service the issue.

Vacuum clogged

If you are talking about the electric hose, try using your none electric hose with the crevice tool attachment to extract the particles from the other one. When using any of the hose please leave it running a few minutes to make sure everything in the hose moves through and does not stop midway through.

Tear in Eureka Upright "The Boss" 4870
Posted by kdunnett on Jun 07, 2008
I have a tear in the hose of an upright Eureka "The Boss" 4870 vacuum. I cannot find how to release the parts I need to get the hose out and put in a new hose (which I already have) I've searched the Eureka site and the owner's manual - nothing about how to replace the hose itself. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Eureka 431A Optima Bagless Upright Vacuum. In answer to your question, the owner’s manual may or may not give an example to install the hose only, but on most vacuums the hose sometimes will screw in to the hose cuff on both ends unless if it is a hose assm then it will then twist and turn. Check with the
Eureka website and have them send out a schematic and owner’s manual for you so that you can install your hose properly. Sometimes you have to place hose glue on the end of each side in order for the hose to screw in properly. the website address will be listed below and they certainly should supply you with the owners’ manual and maybe a schematic of the parts breakdown that also may help. If not; check with your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
